Luca Valentini

Systems and tools programmer.

Senior Unity Developer with 6+ years in Unity and C#, building and shipping games across PC and mobile in studio teams since 2023. I work best architecting structured, self-contained game systems, and building the custom tooling that raises the whole team's productivity. Toolmaking is what I enjoy most.

From January 2025 to September 2026 I was at KYKUYO on SOLAR, a live geolocation/AR mobile game, where I owned the character dressing system, the camera-context architecture, the onboarding flow and the in-app purchase store. I also took the technical direction of SPCA × SOLAR, because I was the one carrying it through to delivery.

I led the technical direction of Waxy: The Wick and the Witch at 3AM Games Studio, and I teach Artificial Intelligence and pathfinding at Escuela Da Vinci, where I graduated.

Most of my recent work is done with coding agents: a game jam entry, a multiplayer netcode project, and features I shipped on a live mobile title. The architecture decisions and the quality bar stay with me.

recommendation.md

"What stands out about Luca is that he doesn't just build things, he ships them. He takes a feature from concept to production and makes it his own along the way."

Carolina Urien, CEO & Co-Founder, KYKUYO · from her letter of recommendation, July 2026
