SOLAR

Senior Unity Developer · 2025 to 2026 · Mobile · Live · Free-to-play · KYKUYO

Live geolocation/AR game on Google Play and the App Store. I owned the dressing system, the camera-context architecture and the NPC GPU rendering pipeline.

  • Shipped the onboarding flow and the IAP store, with prices and inventory driven from the server.
  • Built a typed API client generated from the backend's OpenAPI spec.
  • Added GPU instancing for repeated vegetation and environment meshes.

Snackdown

Solo developer · built with Claude Code · Multiplayer · Netcode · Open source

A 2D last-player-standing platformer, rebuilt from scratch so the server is the authority.

  • Client-side prediction and server reconciliation written by hand: Netcode for GameObjects doesn't include them.
  • Snapshot interpolation for remote players on a fixed 30 Hz tick.
  • Join by Unity Relay code or LAN IP, with connection approval.

Rollgeon

Mobile port & controller support · with 3AM Games · Mobile · Roguelike · In development

A roguelike dice builder where your deck is a bag of dice and combat is based on Generala.

  • Ported it to mobile: touch controls, safe-area layouts, and inputs reworked into gestures or on-screen buttons.
  • Added controller support, so it plays on a gamepad.
  • Still contributing as the game keeps growing.

Waxy: The Wick and the Witch

Technical direction · 9-person team · Mobile · Campaign · Project lead

A time-limited cat-rescue game built as a campaign with SPCA, an animal rescue in Singapore.

  • Owned it end-to-end and delivered within a fixed campaign window.
  • Built a mock layer so the game never waited on the backend.

A reusable Discord bot for indie game communities, running on Rollgeon's server.

  • Welcome cards, devlogs and build notifications from CI.

Brain App

Solo developer · personal project · Python · AI · Architecture

A local-first AI assistant where the LLM never decides an action: it understands what you ask, and deterministic code does the work.

  • Runs end to end with no cloud; cloud models are optional.
  • Switch between 4 model backends live, without restarting.
  • RAG memory inside the same SQLite database, and it keeps working if the model is down.
